I was just out at Lake Morena today and noticed some pretty big cliffs just past the dam. Any idea if these have been climbed? Are allowed to be climbed?

People have climbed there a little but then changed their minds.
That area has some prime active golden eagle nest sites.
Non-nesting bald eagles perch there sometimes to fish in Lake Morena.
So you should think about possible climbing impacts.
There is a hiking trail to the summit on the east side.

Ah, I didn't know that about the eagle nesting. I was just curious really, seemed like a lot of rock for me never to have heard about it.
